Aaron Kurz
American pianist Aaron Kurz (b. 1995) is experiencing a burgeoning career, captivating audiences with his charismatic and moving performance. Aaron has performed across 3 continents, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Salle Cortot, and the Palace of Peace and Harmony in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. He has soloed with many orchestras, including the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Shanxi Shuozilun Symphony (China), and City of Cambridge Symphony Orchestra. Aaron also won many competitions in New York, Los Angeles, World Piano Teachers Association and Virginia Waring International Piano Competitions. His performances have been praised in the Belgian 'Le Soir' : "We remember....a musical journey of the nuanced Aaron Kurz".
Aaron is currently studying at the San Francisco Conservatory with Jon Nakamatsu and Jeremy Denk, recently graduated from Yale where he studied with Boris Berman.
Previous pedagogues have included Carol Leone, Logan Skelton, Alexander Kobrin, Ian Jones and Norma Fisher.
